All blocks

Blocks add things customers see and use at checkout. Every block needs Shopify Plus, because blocks are placed with Shopify’s Checkout Editor. After you create a block, add it to checkout.

Free plan marks the blocks you can create on Checkout Buddy’s Free plan, which includes one customization in total. All blocks are included in the Business plan. See plans.

Offers and upsells

Thank you and order status pages

Banner, Text, Trust badges, Image, Contact info, FAQ, and Line item text can also show on the thank you and order status pages. See thank you and order status pages.

Note

There are two customizations called Address blocker. The block (listed above) checks addresses as the customer types. The Address blocker function checks them when the customer submits, works on every Shopify plan, and can’t be bypassed.

Settings every block has

• Name: For your reference. Form fields also use it as the label on the order.
• Status: New blocks are enabled. Disable a block to hide it everywhere without deleting it.
• Markets: Apply to all markets, or Apply to selected markets only to show the block only to customers in those markets. See markets.
• Display rules: When the block should show. See display rules.
• Visibility (Image and Upsell / Cross sell only): Always show, or Show on selected devices only to show the block only on Mobile / tablet or Desktop.

To copy display rules from one block to another, use Export and Import on the display rules card. See import and export.
